Google Webmaster Tools provides you with detailed reports about your pages' visibility on Google. You can see how Google crawls and indexes your site and learn about specific problems they're having accessing it. You can tell Google all about your pages by submitting a Sitemap file. It helps Google learn which pages are most important to you and how often those pages change. Because Google Webmaster Tools are Google Product, you can sign in with your Google ID. Cool hah.
For Blogger users, when you have added you blog in Google Webmaster Tools and put the Meta Tag Verification in your blog. Next step is adding your blog sitemap file. Usually you can add your atom or rss feed for submit sitemap.
EX. http://blogname.blogspot.com/atom.xml
Or
http://blogname.blogspot.com/rss.xml
But if you redirect your feed to feed publisher service (eg. Feedburner), it will be cause of
ERROR in the future when Google Bot crawl your sitemap.
I don’t know where this problem came from. It looks like Google Bot can’t crawl on sitemap, which have redirection activity. You must add
http://blogname.blogspot.com/rss.xml?orderby=updated
for you new sitemap. This is your feed without redirect to anywhere. In atom feed (http://blogname.blogspot.com/atom.xml?orderby=updated) it’s working too.
Submit sitemap in first time will take a long time for your sitemaps are included in Google's index. You will wait…. Wait…. Wait… and forget it!!
